The Volvo A40F is a classic 40-ton class articulated hauler, built by Volvo Construction Equipment – the inventor of the articulated truck – and its outstanding design has been recognized with prestigious awards including the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Product Design Award. Powered by the Volvo D16 engine, this hauler delivers a maximum gross power of 350 kW (476 hp) and a peak torque of 2,525 Nm for exceptional pulling power. It carries a payload capacity of up to 39 tonnes with a struck capacity of 24.0 m³ (SAE 2:1 heap), and features a 9-speed fully automatic transmission with a top travel speed of 57 km/h.
